Design Workshop “Sustainable Packaging": from 1st to 18th December 2009

Further to last year success, Valtenna has renewed one more time its partnership with the Master in Eco-Design & Eco-Innovation organized by the Faculty of Architecture, University of Camerino. This year, the design workshop, held within the Master, will be named "SUSTAINABLE PACKAGING. Eco-friendly paper and cardboard packaging designs." The target of this experimental project is to develop innovative packaging solutions for different fields, from concept to prototype, with a focus on functionality, technical performance, ease of use and eco-compatibility. The application sectors are Multimedia, Footwear and Food. The Workshop will take place from 1st December to 18th December and on the opening of the workshop participants will visit our plants and will be greeted by Mr Loris Moretti one of the owners. He will explain the different processes and products and will provide information on the newest technologies and available materials. As a conclusion of the workshop, on 18th December, the projects completed, even supported by prototypes made in the company on the field, will be presented to a commission board including the Master’S teachers, Mr Loris Moretti and Comieco representatives. Valtenna, extremely sensitive to the issues of eco-sustainable and eco-friendly products, is honoured to give its contribution to the achievement of this workshop.
