HISTORY
Valtenna has more than 60 years’ experience developed in an area wedded to the excellence of shoes and leather goods sectors. It still preserves the secret of an artisanal production, where customer care and attention to details still matter, but it is also connected to a technological evolution responsible towards the environment and the people.
An Italian company story, founded in 1963 by Moretti family and guided today by its second generation, looking ahead with energy, maturity, environmental responsibility and integrated services. This is the secret to keep competing on the international markets as a modern company, always ready to accept new challenges
Handmade production of rigid boxes for shoes.
The generational change led to the production of foldable boxes, adding a new sector to the company. New plant of 7.000 square meters. New printing and folder-gluer machines. Additional enlargement to other sectors.
The road to certify the production standards goes on leading also to environmental sustainability and social responsibility. We obtained the CoC-FSC™ and CoC-PEFC™, followed by SA 8000 in 2016.
The company’s technological evolution goes on: new machines and new automations improve quality and performance even further. The entire process is digitalized and traceable in real time.
Valtenna has been honoured with the gold award at the Oro della Stampa for the Paper Industry in 2023 thus joining the Club of Excellences. The industrial organization is enhanced with new technologies and a new production hub in Albania.
First investments in automatic machines for the production of rigid set up boxes, to meet higher production volumes.
We started selling our products all over Europe and we also started some productions abroad. All the production plants are ISO 9001 certified.
A new plant of 12000 square meters is ready. A technological building where handcraft knowledge is mixed with the newest technologies. High performance materials, energy efficiency (photovoltaic and geothermal systems), warehouse and storage spaces.
The company obtained the ISO 45001 certification, which specifies the requirements for an occupational health and safety management system. In the same year it adopted the 231 Organisation and Management Model, which reduces the risk of criminal offenses. It also obtained the ISO 14001 certification for the environmental management.

The two divisions are independent and highly specialized in the production of every product’s typology. The integration of every in-house production step led to a strong reduction in production lead time, a higher quality control during each manufacturing phase, a diminution of road transportation and the possibility to offer hybrid products coming from both divisions, integrating rigid and foldable characteristics at the same time.
The ability of this model to mix industrial capacity and operational versatility makes Valtenna the best partner to develop advanced coordinated packaging solutions, offering at the same time an extremely wide production range.
Each division has dedicated production lines but, thanks to an integrated company management system, information, supplies, logistics, research and development are strictly linked. This technological ecosystem represents Valtenna’s commitment toward versatility, a big range of products, quality, problem solving and reliability.
